"According to Your Faith, it Will Be Done." - So, How's Your Faith?
Life with God is a life of faith. By faith, we please God. By faith, we receive the promises of God. But how often do we try to earn our way to the promise? How much do you really believe the preposterous statements of Jesus? The accounts of the Gospels? The new creation of the believer?Do you really believe you are forgiven? Do you really believe you are right with God, holy and blameless in His eyes?
When Jesus asked the two blind men in Matthew 9 asked Jesus to heal them, He asked,
"Do you believe I can do this?" "Yes, Lord," they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith, let it be done to you,”; and their sight was restored.
Do you believe He can heal you?If I am honest, in some areas of Faith, I am steadfast in conviction. In some areas, my prayer sounds more like, "Lord, I believe, help my unbelief!"The word salvation in English is translated from the Greek word "sozo." It is not just about spiritual renewal but also the full healing and restoration to wholeness in this life.We must believe that Jesus did not just die to get us to heaven and sit idly by while the people of God suffer through life. He said himself, "I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly." But what side of the comma are you on? Are you receiving His life, or are you stepping into the abundant life He came to give us?Let us tear down the strongholds and imaginations and any high things that have set themselves up against the knowledge of God and take every thought captive. Let us renew our minds daily until we really believe all that Jesus showed we could have is true and real for us.
Jesus says," According to your faith, let it be done to you."
What do you have faith that God could do with your life? What do you believe He can do in your life today?!Holy Spirit, teach us, show us, guide us into all truth.
