Through One Man
One man came and trespassed. One man came with the free gift of grace. One man brought condemnation. One man brought justification. Through one man came death. Through one man came life. We are all born into condemnation because of one man’s trespass but how much more are we able to receive through the one man who brought the free gift of righteousness.
Every human is born with these 3 characteristics:
1. We have all trespassed. (Matthew 6:14-15)"For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."2. We are all condemned apart from Christ. (Psalm 34:22)"The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.3. We are born dead in our sin. (Ephesians 2:5)"Even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved."
When we become Christian's, we are born-again with these 3 characteristics:
1. We receive God’s grace. (Ephesians 2:8)"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God."2. We are justified following our many trespasses. (Romans 5:1)"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."3. We receive eternal life. (John 3:16)"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."We have been given a life as an enemy of God but by the grace of God, we can choose to follow Him. We live in a culture that tells us if we live good moral lives and attend church, we will inherit eternal life.

But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification. For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.Do you walk through life as the one man in trespasses, condemnation and death or in relationship and trust in the one man who brings the free gift of grace, justification, and life? Will you accept his free gift and live in obedience to Him as He has lived in obedience to the Father? But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
