Benny Hinn's 'Practices for Waiting on the Lord' is a Game Changer

Recently a close friend and fellow writer on this blog, Brian Maisch sent me a video. It was a message by Benny Hinn titled Practices for Waiting on the Lord. The title immediately peaked my interest. Waiting on the Lord is a huge topic that isn't practiced enough by Christians today. You may be saying, "Yea, but, it's a message by Benny Hinn." I know - I know; he has a negative reputation these days. Personally, I have never heard him preach before watching this video. I'll tell you one thing for sure, Benny Hinn loves God and he has some wisdom from God that many Christians do not have.Benny Hinn's Message 'Practices for Waiting on the Lord' is a game changer! This is one of the simplest messages, while at the same time most profound, I've heard in a long time.

I encourage you to watch Benn Hinn's message Practices for Waiting on the Lord:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvL17LQUYpYI couldn't agree more with Benny Hinn's message. This is how you receive power from God. If you want God's power in your life, it starts with implementing a passage of scripture found in Psalms. "Truly my soul waits upon God: from him comes my salvation." - Psalm 62:1Waiting is the key to power in the life of a Christian. But, many people (including pastors) misinterpret what it means to wait. You may say, well what do I do while I wait? Nothing. As you wait, the flesh withers away. The flesh loses its force.

This concept of waiting on the Lord is practical and very effective. I know any time I can force myself to get to this point, I notice the difference in myself.

Why is this so difficult for us to do?

I'd like to say, "I don't know." But the truth is, it's the world we live in. Our world is so fast pace so "go-go-go" there isn't time to sit and do nothing. When we're going to sit down, that's our chance to watch Netflix or to check social media. What's holding you back from waiting on the Lord or what has helped you learn this skill?
