God is Weird.

Yes, you read that correctly, God IS weird.I was talking with one of my friends last night and continued to call them "weird."  But I quickly followed it up with, "but that's why we are still friends."  No body wants to be friends with boring people, most all of us look for excitement or something different.  If you think about it we are all "weird" based on who is doing the name calling. Now think about Jesus.  He was a carpenter that said he was the son of God.  He was a man mho could raise people from the dead, turn water into wine, multiply food, and heal blind men.  Jesus was a man who, even at the point of dying, gave up Himself to save others.   Most people would look at that and think "thats one weird dude."Our world likes to use that term for things we don't understand or things that don't fit into the comfort zone of the world.  I would think that Jesus would welcome the label of "weird" and more than likely take it as a compliment.Isaiah 55:8-9“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.God makes it very clear that He does not operate in our comfort zone or even in a way in which we could even begin to understand.  His way may seem weird to us, but to Him, they are perfect.  To Him they are normal.  That is why we should read and study the Bible in order to try and understand our supernatural God. I encourage you to do that in order to have the true picture of God, because God reveals himself through his word.Simply put I would challenge you to stop trying to fit into the world's normal and start seeking out, understanding and being a part of God's normal...be weird.Weird (adjective): involving or suggesting the supernatural; unearthly or uncanny
