I enjoyed doing things with myself and God, traveling and adventuring alone was fun! My life was so intriguing, that no one or nothing could distract me from the joy I had. Then, all of a sudden, this man came along whose life and character was more intriguing than my own. In fact, his life and character was distracting. Don't get me wrong, he was not a distraction that took me away from my everyday life and caused me to focus only on him and not God. He was distracting in a way, where I would be doing my own thing, seeking God but constantly see him doing the same, if not more!I was at a place where all I did was chase after God and everywhere I went, I saw this man doing the same. I couldn't help but notice his heart! All of a sudden, my single self began to mingle and next thing I knew, I had fallen deeply in love with this mans heart and character, even more than my own. He challenged me to be a better person, to strive for a better and deeper relationship with Christ, to step out of my comfort zone.

That's when I knew, a life with him could never be boring or become old. Yes, I know over time his passions may change and his hobbies may be different. Trust me when I say, I would love to spend the next 100 years seeing his passions change and develop, than attempting to get to know anyone else! In my eyes, he is the most interesting man in the world. This man intrigues me so much, that no other man is even a question or thought on my mind, I truly don't even see other men the same way anymore. "I only have eyes for you" took on a whole new meaning when our relationship started. I still get butterflies just thinking about seeing him! My love for him is the best way I can explain loving another with all you have and putting them before yourself! To put it simply, I fell in love with the way he lead his own life, so I knew right away, I was in love with the way he was going to lead myself and our future family.

If you are living the "single life" stop looking at it like you are alone. This is the perfect time for you to enjoy spending time with God and to develop who you are. This is the time to define who you are and discover your true identity. Enjoy this time and process developing your true identity before you enter into a relationship.[easy-tweet tweet="A relationship is the place where you are supposed to be finding out who the other person is, not who you are." via="no" usehashtags="no"]How selfish would it be to step into a committed relationship, where you say you are devoting time to this other person and learning everything about them, when really you are struggling to even define or know yourself? How could you try to share your life with someone else, if you don't even know your own life?Granted, you may have a career and know your calling but your insecurities can eat you alive, if you're not careful entering into a relationship. The best advise to give the single person who is desperate for a relationship, is to take a chill pill! When you rush into your future, you miss out on the blessings that come from it. Don't rush your blessings, don't rush your development process, enjoy time with yourself, and you do you! And when the time comes, when someone intrigues you as much as you intrigue yourself, that's when a relationship can come into question.
