Dear satan

Dear satan,I am writing to tell you that I am through with you.  I am sick and tired of the guilt trips.  I’m sick and tired of the shame.  I’m sick and tired of the feeling of defeat.  I’m sick and tired of feeling exhausted.  I’m sick and tired of feeling lonely and isolated.  I’m sick and tired of feeling jaded.  I’m sick and tired of feeling as if the world is against me.  I’m sick and tired of feeling lost and confused.  I’m sick and tired of feeling unloved.  I’m sick and tired of feeling broken and worthless.  I’m done with those feelings and I am done with you. Today I take my life back!Jesus has never failed or made a mistake.  It tells me in Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart...”  God made me for a specific purpose and he is not through with me yet.  I choose to believe in the plan my one true savior has for me; to make this world a better place with the gifts he has given me.  And by the power and blood of Jesus Christ, which covers me righteous, I command you to step down.  You must leave this place, body, mind, and spirit this very instance.  For God covered me in his sacrificial blood and filled me with the power of the Holy Spirit to perform good works, which God prepared in advance for me to do (Ephesians 2:10).  No thing and no one can stop me from doing them.Nothing can separate me from God’s love.  His love is the most powerful thing in this entire universe and not even you, satan, can stand against it, defeat it, or understand it.  I know that God can hear me, even when the silence is deafening.  I have faith he hears my every word, my every plea.  I choose to believe and never give up hope!Sincerely,God’s treasured, adored, loved, cherished, chosen, precious, dear, prized, valued, respected, and appreciated Children With the holidays in our rear view mirror and winter taking full force, life can seem a little dark and difficult.  This is an opportune time for satan to sneak in and kill, cheat, lie, and destroy our lives.  Do not let him!  Turn to the only true constant in the entire galaxy, Jesus Christ.  Hopefully the above letter can help remind you of the real battle going on day in and day out.  Your life is important and worth fighting for.  Do you think satan would try to destroy your life if it wasn’t important?  Jesus knew you and he designed you before you were created.  Take that to heart and cherish every waking breathe you have because you never know when the last one will be.
