Jesus Loves You...He Told Me So

I’m sitting here looking at a blank Microsoft word document trying to figure out what God wants me to write about for my next blog post.  What is it that he is laying on my heart to share with you?  I have numerous words and thoughts popping in and out of my head, but nothing seems to stick.  After about an hour I feel compelled to put on some worship music and type whatever God places in my mind/heart….and this is what he has to say to you.I love you so much.  Nothing or no one will ever take that away NO MATTER WHAT.  You might look at yourself and think you are broken merchandise that is of no use.  But I look at you and see what you can be with my strength, courage, love, grace and knowledge.  You can’t go through this life on your own and think you will survive.  I want nothing but the best for you and that is why I continually seek you.  I want to be best friends.  The world has tried to turn me into a weak, mild mannered, serious God but it couldn’t be further from the truth.  I love to laugh and joke around with you.  I want to spend time with you and deepen our friendship every single day and every single minute.  You are so important to me and I look forward to spending time with you more than you will ever know.  I paid the highest price possible to have that opportunity and I don’t want a single second to go by without talking/listen to you.I have so many cherished memories of you, memories that I will never forget.  The day of your birth; the day you heard your first bible story; and the day your face was on my mind as I was hanging on the cross.  But it wasn’t your face that you are accustom to, no.  It was the face on your new body waiting for you in heaven.  It will be such a glorious day when we get to enjoy each other for eternity in heaven.  Not to mention getting to see all the family, friends, and people you don’t even know yet that were impacted by you showing them my love on earth.There are so many enjoyable things I have planned for us.  Things that will leave you amazed.  I live to see that look on your face.  The look of total shock, amazement, love, and overflowing joy.  There is nothing that can beat that feeling for either one of us.You are more powerful than you know.  As you draw closer to me you will find greater joy in the day to day activities that you use to despise.  When you have your best friend by your side 24/7 how can life not be fun?  Sure there are times of pain and struggle but look at it as an opportunity for us to deepen our relationship.  Is it not true that you have a special bond with people that helped you through the difficult times in your life?  How much truer will it be between you and I?All I ask is that you give me a chance to surprise you every single day.  I can guarantee you it won’t be anything you are expecting because where would the fun be in that?  I like a challenge….Just remember to keep it simple.  I didn’t design Christian living to be difficult; man has tried to make it difficult.  If all else fails always remember to love me with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.  This will get you further in life than you might think. Talk to you soon!
