Wire to Wire Winner

This past week I had the honor of watching one of the greatest (if not the greatest) golf tournaments in the world in THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass.  Not only that, I got to watch the #1 golfer in the world, Jason Day, win the event.  Regardless of the sport, or skill, it is always a great opportunity to watch the best in the world excel at their craft.Jason won "wire to wire."  All that means is that he was in the lead after the first day of the competition and he never relinquished his lead.  It was a great 4 days of golf. Now even though he won "wire to wire" that doesn't mean he didn't have a bad hole at all.  Even as the best player in the world he hit bad golf shots, and missed some putts he should have made.  He made bogeys and he even made a couple of double bogeys. But he never let those shots derail, him.  If you look at his scorecard its almost like every time he made a mistake it fueled him to get it back and follow it up with a positive.SO...lets start with this. Jesus has already won for you...Wire to Wire! From a big picture, when sin entered the world, God sent Jesus.  Even though things may not have looked like He was going to win, God has always and will always end up on top.Now again, that doesn't mean that there are not going to be struggles.  The bible pretty much promises we will face trials and struggles or many kinds.  But God never stops there.  There is always encouragement, and always the next instruction or thought on how to overcome.  How to stay in the lead and keep the victory.Don't let a small struggle steal your victory; a bad grade on a test, a fight with your significant other, a financial issue, or even an injury or medical issue to you or someone else.  Use the struggle to make you come back even stronger and even use it for the good!  Just walk in confidence knowing that God has already won, and is holding the trophy waiting on you to claim it!James 1:2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,Psalms 34:17-18 When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.  The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.2 Corinthians 4:8-9We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;1 Corinthians 10:13No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man.  God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
