We Are at War - 31 Days of Prayer

prayerWe are at war. Our country is in chaos and crying out for help. There is truly strength in numbers, and we need to fight together for our country. Focus on the Family is asking for us to help save America by joining them in their 31 Days of Prayer effort before the November election. The spiritual battle is even more real than what we see in the physical.I often believe that many times we as Christians are dormant. We expect things to change on their own. God fights for us, but we also have to do our part. The enemy is alive and well and never sleeps. In war, you don't just sit still and expect to win the battle. With a mindset like that, you and your family will die. Families are hurting and divorce has become the norm. Our children are growing up to see evil being called good and good being called evil. The bible tells us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." This is what we need.Let's stand united October 1st-31st as one body praying for our land. Each day we will be praying and interceding for specific daily points of prayer such as racial tensions, praying for our leaders, and many more. Please click here to download the 31 Days of Prayer Guide and join us.Why is it important for us to pray together?"Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." Matthew 18:19What can we do next after prayer?Take action and vote! Every vote counts including YOURS! According to Commit 2 Vote 2016, "In this century, every U.S. presidential election has been won by a popular vote margin that is less than the number of registered Christians who did not vote."
